A former picky eater, Stephanie V.W. Lucianovic is a freelance writer, editor, and lapsed cheesemonger in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been writing for KQED’s\u00a0Bay Area Bites<\/a>\u00a0since its inception and is the website editor for the Emmy-award winning\u00a0Check, Please! Bay Area<\/a><\/em>. She has written for CNN.com, MSNBC.com, Popular Science,\u00a0The New York Times<\/em>,The Washington Post<\/em>, and\u00a0The Boston Globe<\/em>.
