What is Oneness? // Part 1 of 3

CJ Liu interviews NY Times Best selling authors, Eben Alexander, MD and Karen Newell about their book “Living in a Mindful Universe“. Eben shares the scientific research and the in-depth report on the neocortex exploring his near death experience (NDE) that led him to finding other ways (aside from dying) to replicate the transcendental experience he felt. He describes this as an experience of oneness, which felt sacred and that we are “one mind”. Karen shares the beautiful story with how they met, and how Eben described his experience of love to be too powerful to be felt on the earthly plane.

Experience Heaven Through Sound Healing // Part 2 of 3

Eben shares the scientific research on “oneness” and the sense of oneness when he experienced his near death experience (NDE). Karen explains the connection of oneness to the heart and how it is one heart, one mind. Eben and Karen share how brainwaves work in stimulating sounds in the right and left ears, which create a “wavering sound” or wobble. Karen reveals this wobbling sound is the same sound found in Tibetan healing bowls.

Do We Have Free Will or Is Everything Predetermined? // Part 3 of 3

In segment three, Eben and Karen discuss free will. Do we have it? Eben explains that when we are acting out of ego that we are not operating out of free will. However, Eben shares that when we are in “oneness” that we are not in ego. He explains that oneness goes way beyond ego. When someone is in this state it has similarity to a placebo effect. This oneness helps explains healing miracles. For example, people have had near-death experiences (NDE) where they started out with cancer or had been in water for 30 minutes, yet come back fully healed. He explains that this oneness heals all. Our higher minds are guiding us all the time. Karen re-frames our way of thinking about being in oneness as our sacred responsibility.
